14th Annual NSW Women’s Gathering—Grafton 2006
St Lawrence & Associates was a proud Diamond Sponsor for the 2006 Women’s Gathering by providing the services of its Director, Vicki St Lawrence as the Honorary Convenor and organiser. The Women’s Gathering was a weekend of workshops, key note speakers and tours with over 250 women in attendance from all over rural NSW and interstate and was held in Grafton 20-22 October 2006. The 2009 Women’s Gathering will be held in Junee on 18-20 September. See the Junee Council's web site for details www.junee.nsw.gov.au

Lower Clarence Women’s Group - member 1999 - 2003. Wrote the submission successful in attracting $100,000 NSW Department for Women’s Partnership Project to promote women’s role in the future development of the Valley. Active member of the Advisory Committee to conduct the Project.

Rotary Club Of Grafton – member 2000 - 2006 & Board member (youth) in 2002. Member of the organising committees for the Grafton Antiques Fair & the Grafton Grand Muster.

Community Programs Inc. (previously known as Clarence Valley Community Programs Inc.) A Board member during the period 1994 to 2000, positions included Chairperson (97/98), Vice-Chairperson and Treasurer. During this period the CVCP undertook a major restructure to consolidate for effective management. The CVCP is now the major community based auspice of community services in the Clarence Valley & beyond. It managed 14 projects (including one based in Inverell), & 75 staff in 2002 & continues to expand.

Coldstream Community Pre-School Inc, Tucabia, 1983/89. As inaugural Secretary established the Preschool & wrote the successful application for funds to build the facility.

Clarence Childhood Services Assoc. Inc – Inaugural Secretary 1982/84 CCSA established the Clarence Family Day Care Scheme during this period.
