NSW Liquor Licence Community Impact Statements

Prior to the introduction of new liquor licencing laws in NSW in July 2008, St Lawrence & Associates undertook on behalf of the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing, the final review of 16 Social Impact Assessments prepared for the then Liquor Administration Board.

With the change in legislation Social Impact Assessments are no longer required and St Lawrence & Associates is now available to conduct Community Impact Statements on behalf of liquor licence applicants. We bring an understanding of rural and regional communities and how best to consult such communities.

For those applicants who prefer to undertake the CIS themselves St Lawrence & Associates can assist by providing:

  • advice about consultation techniques
  • independently facilitated public meetings and focus groups
  • assistance with surveys, including telephone surveys
